The site contains hearing information, an educational hearing check, local audiogram reading and a limited catalogue of hearing devices. It can be used without an account or payment.
Purpose of the information
Content is general information. The hearing check and audiogram tool cannot replace a hearing examination, diagnosis, medical advice or individual hearing aid fitting. Contact healthcare services for hearing difficulties and seek prompt care for sudden hearing loss according to 1177's guidance.
Speech in noise
Speech in noise is an experimental educational exercise with synthetic speech and white noise. It is not a clinically validated screening tool, gives no diagnosis and does not measure hearing threshold in dB HL. Results can change with device, headphones, volume and surroundings. Do not base healthcare decisions on this result alone.
Your audiogram
You decide whether to open a file. It is processed locally in your browser. Automatic reading may miss symbols, mix up ears or interpret axes incorrectly. Check every suggestion against the original before using the values as a discussion aid.

The catalogue is a selection and may omit products, features or regional details. Unknown fields do not mean a feature is absent. Manufacturer details and availability can change.
