Visitor statistics and cookies
We use a script from Webbstatistik to measure page views. The current script does not use cookies or local storage for statistics on this site. It sends the page URL, referring page and time to webbstatistik.se; the IP address and browser information may also be processed during the request. We do not use accounts or advertising cookies.
Local storage for reading settings
When you change text size or contrast, your browser saves that choice in local storage under the key reading-settings. The choice is used when you return. Reset removes the active choices; you can clear site data in your browser to remove the saved entry.
Audiograms and temporary information
Audiograms, extracted values and hearing check answers are handled in browser memory. They are not saved in cookies or local storage and are not sent to the server.
Speech in noise
Answers, sound levels and results from the speech in noise exercise exist temporarily in browser memory only. They are not saved in cookies or local storage or sent to the server. Prepared sound files are downloaded from the site when needed.
External sites
Following a link to a manufacturer, Webbstatistik or Skickamejl takes you away from this site. The external site may use its own cookies and provides its own information about them.
Changes
If we add features that use cookies or similar technology for visitor statistics, we will update this page and address any information and consent requirements before enabling them.
