Try a hearing check
Reflect on everyday hearing and try an optional sound exercise. It does not diagnose hearing loss.
Before you begin
This is an educational reflection on your own experiences. Answers stay in browser memory and are erased when you restart or leave. No microphone is needed.
It cannot measure hearing or give a diagnosis. Seek care if you have difficulties regardless of your answers.
How do you experience hearing?
Try a sound exercise
A synthetic voice says the same sentence first without and then with soft background noise. It shows how noise can interfere with speech; it does not measure your hearing.
Choose a quiet place and use headphones if you wish. Set a comfortable volume before starting. Stop if uncomfortable. Do not raise the volume to try to hear everything.
Text alternative: “We will meet at the large table after lunch.”
Your summary
This is not a medical assessment. Sound from different devices and surroundings cannot be compared reliably.
